1 lb Tallow Block Paddle Lube

1 lb tallow block 

Commonly known as paddle lube; this tallow is ideal to keep your soldering paddles well lubricated and prevent solder from sticking. By keeping the timber in top condition your paddles will be long-lasting.

To prepare the paddle for use, warm the tallow gently and work a paddle in. Let it absorb into the paddle and then continue to apply a little heat to encourage the tallow to draw into the timber. While working with a lead stick at the same time, heat the solder and use the paddle to spread and smooth the solder to the desired shape.
